Western Union Promises Cars in Consumer Promotion

Western Union, a global payments service company, has announced the launch of the Western Union ‘Mega’ Promo, in Nigeria for 2017. Through the promo, which is designed specifically for Nigerian consumers who conduct outbound money transfer transactions, the company will give away new cars to two lucky winners, in addition to 50 consolation prizes, in the first phase of the promotion which started running from July and end this month.

‘’The Western Union mega promo, is an initiative to reward Nigerian customers. To qualify for this promotion individuals must send money overseas via Western Union within the speculated period,’’ a statement issued by the company stated.

Western Union Vice President for Africa, Aida Diarra, was quoted as saying that the company began its journey in Nigeria over 20 years ago and that it appreciated the loyalty and trust of our Nigerian customers.

‘’Over the past two decades, we have helped connect Nigerians to their loved ones by moving money for education, healthcare, and regular support, amongst many other reasons. We know thisabilitytotransferfundssecurelyandconvenientlyhelpsindividualsandfamiliesfulfiltheirambitions, dreams and heart’s desires,” she said,

She further stated that rewarding consumers is important to Western Union, and a part of what the company does do, adding that it recently concluded the Easter Promotion which was highly successful. This time around, Diarra pointed out that the company has stepped it up several notches by giving away new cars and other high-value prizes.

The Vice President for Africa, also pointed out that customers who use their My WU loyalty card when placing their outbound transactions will also have triple the opportunity of winning prizes during the Western Union Mega Promo.
