Nikon Sets to Stir Market as it Clocks 100  

Global technology leader, Nikon, has promised consumers of a renewed and better experience as it celebrate 100 years of resounding achievements

 According to the company, the next 100 years promises to be more rewarding in terms of experience and innovation.

Speaking on the company’s accomplishments in the last 100 years, President of the company, Kazuo Ushida, in a statement said that the company’s position in the market was only made possible with customer’s trust and loyalty.

 “In the past 100 years, consumer demand has called for convenient products that enhance daily lives and Nikon with its manufacturing skills and knowledge. However, society and consumers needs are rapidly changing today. We would like to effectively respond to these needs with the world’s highest- class opto- electronics, precision technology and solutions.

 “The difference from our past strategies is that we will offer not only products, but also ideas and solutions as well. We will rebirth as a solution company providing superior technology and ideas holding ‘light’ as our core competence.

 The firm also rolled out a wide range of products as part of activities to celebrate the century existence. Some of the products included gunmetal D5 and D500 SLRs and the 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR, and 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR
