Spanish Government has condemned in strong terms the insurgency attacks which killed at least 17 people and injured more than 20 people in Maiduguri, Bornu State.
In a statement issued to THISDAY by the Ministry of Foreign and Cooperation, it expressed sympathies to the families and friends of the victims, while wishing those injured speedy recovery.
It added: “Spain expresses its support for and solidarity with Nigeria in its fight against terrorism, as well as its commitment to search for peace and stability in the country.â€
