The Delta State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has honoured Ovie Success Ossai, the political aide to the state Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for his support and commitment to service delivery in the state.
The guild described him as a young man that is passionate, dedicated, and focused and an inspiration to youths in the state.
While presenting the award, the state Chairman of the guild, Ovie Idu Alex, urged the youths to be courageous and exemplary wherever they find themselves.
An elated Ossai, while receiving the award at the Ebenezia Hotel Asaba, venue of the gala and award nite, expressed gratitude to God, Okowa and the guild for finding him worthy.
He told the gathering that he was surprised at the recognition but humbled and is determined to continue to shine as a model to the youths.â€
According to him, “This award is a testimony to the fact that no matter what you are doing and where you are, people are watching. Hence, it’s imperative that we create good name and be passionate with whatever we are doing. I am also using this opportunity to advise the youths to desist from violence and to embrace peace n dialogue for a better tomorrow
