The acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has signed the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Bill, and the Petroleum Training Institute Bill, which were transmitted to him by the National Assembly, into law.

“The Diaspora Commission Act establishes the commission under the supervisory jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Enang further noted that the law would ensure the establishment of a database

The Petroleum Training Institute (Amendment) Act, Enang said, would bring its provisions in conformity with the constitution, allowing for due process in the administrative action affecting the principal officers and staff of the institute.

Enang also welcomed the lawmakers from their mid term recess and constituency engagements.
Meanwhile, the lawmakers are scheduled to resume from their midterm/sallah recess today (Tuesday).
