Toyin Abraham Returns in The In-Laws

After successfully producing her Alakada Reloaded movie, talented actress, Toyin Abraham returns in new movie ‘The In-Laws’ which will premiere on July 7 at the Ozone Cinema, Yaba.

The new romantic comedy is produced by the Bola Oba Sa’ad led Film Service Media, the co-executive producer of the actress’ hit movie, Alakada Reloaded.

According to the Edo state-born star actress “I promised my fans great movies, and this is one of them. I also said that I would only appear in movies that are women and children friendly and that is why I’ m in this movie. It is a movie for everyone. The In-Laws is about love and family. It is about everyday issues faced by everyday people when it comes to love, marriage and family.”

The In-Laws follows the story of Tobi Balogun, (Chris Attoh) a 35 year-old, naturalist doctor, and son to Rtd. Police Sergeant, Abu Balogun, (Dele Odule) is in love, and ready to marry Nancy Okezie, (Toyin Abraham) 30, daughter of Donald Okezie, (Charles Inojie) an old-school Lawyer. However, trouble starts after they secretly get engaged, and introduce each other to their families.

Donald Okezie remembers Abu Balogun as an unrepentant liar who scuttled his biggest lawsuit, and coupled with the fact that Tobi is a naturalist doctor, which Donald terms as a herbalist, he decides to prevent his daughter from marrying Tobi. Abu Balogun remembers Donald as the man who snatched his first love and wife, then frustrated his promotion. Hence he decides not only to separate his son from the Nancy, but also punish Donald for his past sins.

The movie features other talented star actors like Chris Attoh, Dele Odule, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Charles Inojie, Ngozi Nwosu, Woli Arole and others.
