The 6th edition of The Basement Gig had a great turn out as music lovers came out in good numbers. The event held for the first time on the mainland, at the Cielo Lounge in Ikeja G.R.A, Lagos on June 22, 2017.
Performers at the event were some of the finest emerging artistes, who did not fall short of expectations, as they thrilled the audience with electrifying performances. Rapper, Triq kicked things off by performing songs off his recently released mixtape titled ‘While You Were Sleeping’. Next up was Afro-Pop act, King Perry, who came all the way from Owerri and got everyone on their feet with his performance. Kayode thrilled the audience next and he was followed by an enchanting performance by Bella, as she got the house singing along to her single titled ‘Radio’. Tolani brought the event to a close as he performed with his 3-man band.Â
City FM’s DJ, Six7even, got the audience singing and dancing with sensational mixes as well. The event was hosted by Cool FM’s Kemi Smallzz and co-hosted by Khlo.
