APC Expels Abdulmumin Jibrin

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State has expelled a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, for anti-party activities.

Addressing reporters in Kano on Thursday, the chairman of the party in the local government, Mr Sani Kanti Ranka, accused the former chairman, House Committee on Appropriation of promoting divisive tendencies.

Ranka further accused Jibrin of insubordination and disrespect to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The party’s council chairman, who said APC’s action was as a result of its resolution following a report by its disciplinary committee which recommend his expulsion, added that the party would not tolerate disrespect to its leaders and elders.

“The party will not condone indiscipline and disrespect to leaders or duly constituted authority. We hereby inform the world that Jibrin has been expelled from our great party, APC,” he said.
