The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on the federal government and the Department of State Services (DSS) to release the Chairman of Capital Oil and Gas, Mr. Ifeanyi Uba, saying his continued detention is unwarranted.

IPOB in a press release signed by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful, described the detention of Ubah as sabotage of the businesses belonging to Igbo businessmen.

The group warned that it would unleash its wrath on the federal government and the DSS should anything happen to Ubah in prison.

It said: “We want the DSS to know that an attack on Ifeanyi Ubah is an attack on Biafra; the DSS should know that we are watching on this matter and must continue following it until it gets to its logical conclusion.”
