Nigeria’s most youthful and innovative telecommunication company, Etisalat, has signed soul music sensation, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi, as brand ambassador for the telecom brand. Speaking at the formal signing of an agreement between the company and Simi, held in Lagos recently, Director, Brands and Experience, Etisalat Nigeria, Elvis Ogiemwanye, said Etisalat was happy to welcome Simi into the Etisalat family. He added that the decision to sign the youthful and talented artiste further affirmed Etisalat’s commitment to encouraging and supporting home grown talents in different endeavours, including art, sciences or even business, to realise their potentials.
Since its launch into the Nigerian market in 2008, Etisalat has consistently supported several talent development initiatives, including the sponsorship of DJ Xlusive’s All Whilte Party, Kado Picnic and Be A Nigerian Concert, among others.
