VCN Sports Boss Plans Big for Imo

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VCN Sports Limited, Chief Victor Nwaribeaku has vowed to keep boosting sports in Imo State and Nigeria in general.

The light-skinned sports promoter and sports goods distributor said he is encouraged by the recent successful staging of his grassroots tournament at Egbu Village in Awo-Idemili autonomous community in Orsu Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State.

Nwaribeaku, who is also the sponsor of the annual VCN Football Carnival in Lagos, said the tourney in his community has helped to unify the youths in the community and the discovery of talented footballers that can play for clubs in the local league and even the various national teams.

Besides the football fiesta, Nwaribeaku provided a 1.5km road, borehole and 300KVA electric transformer to the Egbu village, while promising more for Awo-Idemili autonomous community in the nearest future.

Speaking at a thanksgiving service at the Christ the King Church (CKC), Egbu, Nwaribeaku noted that his generosity and motivation of the youths is his own way of giving back to the society as well as taking the youths off social vices.
