Dogo Targets Maximum Points against Remo Stars in Lafia

Nasarawa United Head Coach, Kabir Dogo, has said his side has done the needful to grab first top-flight win on home ground at the Lafia Township Stadium.

The Solid Miners are hosts of top-flight newcomers, Remo Stars in today’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match-day 4 clash at the Lafia Township Stadium.

Dogo said his wards have pushed behind them the not too impressive memories of the past three matches to concentrate on winning the crunch tie against the Sky Blue Stars.

“Wednesday’s clash against Remo Stars is going to be good and right.
“Three matches so far in the top-flight without a win are completely not good for our image.
“We want to change the poor fortune when we confront newcomers, Remo Stars on Wednesday.
“The truth right now is that we cannot afford to lose further points in the top-flight.

“We have put behind us the agonies that saw us lose points at Wikki Tourists, ABS FC and Katsina United to focus squarely on Remo Stars.

“I have 100 per cent of my players to choose the best to deliver the whole three points at stake.
“I call tell you that three points are non-negotiable given the quality of preparations we put in for the clash.
“We will make our second match on our brand new turf counts positively and we take it up from there to other matches,” said the former Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC coach to supersport.com.

The Lafia-based side have two points in their kitty from possible nine in the three-week old top-flight.
