Taiwo Afolabi’s Abandoned Project Gets Facelift

At last, prominent businessman, Taiwo Afolabi, CEO, The Sifax Group, has commenced work on his upscale hotel, Marriott Hotels and Resort in the GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Until recently, the successful businessman had abandoned the project for reasons not known to many, after he had secured the franchise of the world-class hotel.

Since the commencement of work on the proposed five-star hotel, many have been asking why it took the shipping magnate many years before giving it any attention again.

Interestingly, in the thinking of some others, Afolabi probably rushed to commence work on the hitherto abandoned project due to what they described as the fear of revocation of the franchise.

Afolabi,  53, is a well-trained professional with over 20 years  experience in the maritime and shipping industry.

A phenomenal personality and exceptional achiever his drive, dreams and determination are a veritable case study for those who truly desire to break limits in the quest for superlative attainments. Through precepts, talk and walk, he has shown that there is no other way to genuine success than persevering hard work, doggedness and tenacity. Quietly without fanfare.

No doubt, his wealth of experience and organisational prudence have remained invaluable assets to the Sifax Group and the nation’s business terrain where is fast becoming a leading and shining light
