Against the backdrop of the current misconceptions trailing the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigerians, especially Lagosians have been urged to disregard all manners of mudslinging and current political gang-up against the foremost politician, saying all attempts to discredit and disparage the legacies of the politician will fail.

This was the submission of a component of part of the APC in the state, The Mandate Group, Lagos state chapter.

Addressing journalists in Lagos, during the week, while reviewing political activities in the country in the recent past, Chairman of the group, Alhaji Ganiyu Abayomi Badmus, maintained that Tinubu had done more than any other Nigerian for the political emancipation of the ruling party than he is getting.

Badmus, who reiterated the support of the group to the leadership of Tinubu, said that all members of the Mandate Group Lagos remained solidly behind Tinubu in all ramifications, insisting that no amount of conspiracy against him would stand the test of time.

His words, “The Mandate Group Lagos has watched with keen interest the conspiracies and political grandstanding against our leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. We have observed that those Tinubu laboured for, and toiled hard to make human beings today are now turning back to bite the fingers that fed them.

“It is not known in history that anyone that bite the fingers that fed him will survive the storm. As for us in the Mandate Group, we want to state categorically clear that we are solidly behind Tinubu come rain, come shine. Nigerians, and indeed Lagosians should open their eyes wide open and not allow anyone to deceive them.

“No amount of political machinations and propaganda against Tinubu will stand the test of time as he will always outshine his antagonists as he always done in the past,” Badmus said.

The Mandate Group Lagos also urged Nigerians especially Lagosians to remain resolute in their belief in the political leadership of Tinubu, saying the love of the masses would always take a prime place in Tinubu’s heart.
