The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano state Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, has said his men arrested three Nigerian youths who were making arrangements to travel to Malaysia with 56.6kg of methamphetamine neatly concealed in cartons through Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).

The suspects identified as drug couriers were Joseph Obiajulu Nwaigbo, Jude Nwaigbo and Thankgod Anyika.

Addressing reporters on Friday in Kano, Umar hinted that NDLEA discovered about seven clandestine laboratories where the deadly metamphetamine drugs are being produced in Lagos and the eastern part of the country.

He added that foreign drug dealers collaborate with some unpatriotic Nigerians in the illicit drug business.
