Rigobert Song Out of Coma

Forty-year old Cameroun football legend, Rigobert Song, has reportedly left his coma state but is still fighting for his life after suffering a stroke attack in Yaounde, Cameroun on Sunday.

The former Liverpool and West Ham defender who had 137 caps for the Indomitable Lions and a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics, is now breathing unassisted but is still in a critical condition after suffering a cerebral aneurysm that left him immobile.

Song, who is the current head coach of Chad’s senior national team, was in a critical condition after a stroke.

He reportedly fell ill at his home in the Cameroon capital and was said to be in a coma,according to French publication L’Equipe.
