Dare2Dream Season3, a Night of Fresh Talent

Chisom Dunu Olivia, from the University of Calabar, emerged the winner of Season3 of Dare2Dream competition, during the grand finale, held at Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, Victoria Island, Lagos, recently.

The lovely fashionable evening was graced by a grand audience from the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara; Majority Leader, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Reni Folawiyo; Kavita Chellarams; Betti Irabor; Elohor Aisien; Remi Diagbare; Derenle Edun; Rich Tanksley; Ozzy Agu, among others.

The four finalists were: Kosi from the University of Lagos; Cordilia and Michelle from the University of Port Harcourt; and Chisom from the University of Calabar. They showcased their talents in front of the distinguished jury. The judges were: Ladi Balogun (GMD of FCMB); Idris Olorunnimbe, CEO and founder of Temple Management Company; Ikechukwu Onunaku Singer; and Charles, Imperial Leather, alongside performing artistes. 

It was a memorable night of entertainment and the Italian Prosecco Fantinel with special performance by Falana, a young, upcoming act and gifted artiste, performer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, who left the audience breathless.

At the grand finale, there was a special surprise by the General Manager of KLM, Arthur Dieffenthaler, who, at the end of the night, made presentation to the winners of Season1 and Season2: Tolulope Balogun and Linus Precious, alongside Chisom Dunu Olivia.

According to him, “We want to fulfill yet another dream, and for this reason we are bringing winners of Season1, Season2 and Season3 to Milan for a special photo shoot and giving them an opportunity to meet modeling agencies in Milan.” 

The Dare2Dream Project will release, this month, the master classes and, in January 2017, the episodes of Season3 in Africa Magic, WazobiaTV and Wazobia Max.
