‘DSS Making Money from FG for Creating Splinters of IPOB’

The Department of State Services (DSS) is making huge sums from creating splinter group out of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the group has stated.

In a statement to THISDAY in Awka and signed by Mr. Emma Mmezu and Dr. Clifford C. Iroanya, spokespersons for the group, it stated: “We have it on authority, that the decision to use the DSS purport factionalisation of IPOB was taken at the presidency.

“They wrote a request for approval of a huge impress to create imaginary splinter groups, so they could make some money for themselves, for times are so hard, the purported factionalisation, would translate to monies being released to them to work with,” the group said.
The group added that DSS needed to give the president the impression that there were working to exterminate IPOB, hence they created imaginary splinter groups which are inexistent.

Iroanya and Mmezu stated that IPOB was happy that rather than see the splinter as anything serious, Nigerians are rather amused by the lack of tact by the security outfit.

“Whether their decision to entertain Nigerians and the world at large of nonexistent factions in our great mass movement will alter or dampen our resolve, or confirm their foolery, will be confirmed by the public in weeks and months ahead.”
