A civil society group, the Civil Societies Coalition for Emancipation of Osun
State (CSCEOS) on Monday expressed dissatisfaction with the increase in the deduction from the monthly allocation to Osun State by the Federal Ministry of Finance as a result of different “unjustified” loans incurred by the State governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola.

The group also alleged that about 75 per cent of the loans were siphoned by Aregbesola and his cronies to Lagos State.

“Economic Confidential Magazine” had reported recently that Osun state under Aregbesola’s watch was the leading State from which the Federal Government deducted the highest amount of N36 billion from their allocations in the month of April, 2016, and the State was worst hit by this development.
