A chieftain of Peoples Democractic Party(PDP) in Kwara state and an aspirant of the National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democractic Party(PDP) in the forthcoming national convention of the party, Hon, Bode Ojomu has pledged to deliver and move the party to the next level if elected during the convention.
Ojomu, who spoke with journalists in Ilorin on Saturday on his ambition said that, the party deserve a new change that would usher-in a new set of leadership that would take the party into a greater height.
He said “there is no doubt that, the opposition PDP is now passing through a serious test in its political career and therefore needs a new set of good leaders that would change its for good”.
Ojomu added that,” I am determine to provide a good agent of change that would create a positive image that would move the PDP forward in the country.
“As a committed member of the PDP that had occupied series of party positions in the past since it’s debut in the political landscape of the country, pledge to offer a good leadership if eventually emerged as the National Publicity Secretary of PDP during the forthcoming of the national convention of the PDP slated for Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
“I am convinced and confident that I am the man who would deliver and move PDP to the next level of increased fortunes in the country.
”For the challenges ahead of our great Party PDP, we need managers with proven capacity, great political ingenuity, integrity, competence, experience and vision.
“The totality of experience garnered over the years has given me the necessary exposure and positioned me rightly as a candidate for the office of National Publicity Secretary. My network of political associates across the nation, in addition to my experience, intellectual ability and potential has equipped me to run such strategic office efficiently.”
