Following the challenges of poor picture qualities and resolution that impede television viewing in Nigeria, where families had to converge around the television box at the end of the day to catch-up with their favourite TV programmes, LG has introduced the world’s first 4K OLED TV into the Nigerian Market that addresses the challenges.

LG had some years ago, introduced the OLED TV technology, which is solely produced by LG Electronics, which came in 55-inch TV sizes.

But the new entry of the LG 4K OLED TV into the Nigerian market, signals another hurdle for other brands in the consumer electronics industry as LG 4K OLED TVs come in both 55 and 65inch sizes. There is no doubt LG Electronics has distinguished itself from its major competitors when it comes to meeting consumers expectation with core innovative technology leaving consumers longing and looking forward to the next production. The 4K OLED TV is a clear statement from LG Electronics, displaying its core competence and taste for high quality when it comes to home entertainment and of course with the interest of the consumer coming first, the company said.

Describing the LG’s curved 4K OLED TV, as unique and pleasant for consumers, the General Manager, Home Entertainment division, LG Electronics West Africa operations, Steve Ryu, said it combines the intense detail of Ultra High Definition (HD) with the superior contrast and rich, accurate colour that only OLED TV can provide, to display what leading industry pundits have deemed the best picture ever.

According to him, the OLED’s revolutionary technology delivers an awe-inspiring picture with perfect blacks and incredible color, even from wide viewing angles. LG’s Art Slim design philosophy is a complement to any interior décor as the TV boasts an amazingly slim depth at only a few millimeters and a stylish, frameless design.

LG 4K OLED TV model offers 4k resolution which delivers perfect black cinematic colour for clear and beautiful Ultra HD picture quality to the delight of consumers. The Ultra HD Resolution which is 4-times the resolution of full HD is recorded as 3840 x 2160p ensuring every picture detail is revealed just as it.

With the LG OLED WRGB technology, the LG 4K OLED TV comes with a total of over 33 million sub-pixels heralding the display of a billion variety of colours.

“For years LG has been at the forefront of innovations that demanded recognition from both experts and consumers, and industry recognition further validates our efforts, especially with 4K OLED TVs,” Ryu said, adding, “OLED TVs are a whole new standard in picture quality and when matched with Ultra HD technology, the results are simply astounding.”

According to him, the innovation used in making the 4K OLED TV would revolutionise TV, design putting competitors on their toes, either to design something better than the 4K OLED or simply queue behind it. LG has demonstrated that the 4K OLED TV as a flagship model is truly a game changer with an unparalleled advancement in innovative technology.

The LG 4K OLED TV is 1000 times faster than the regular LED TVs. With a response time of .001 seconds while showing moving images, makes the product special for customers.
