Chairmen of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 18 local government areas in Ondo State on Thursday warned that the party would be doomed if its leaders compromise or influence the August 27 gubernatorial primary.
The warning of the chairmen was expressed at a press conference they addressed at the Press Centre of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Akure.
THISDAY gathered that the chairmen issued the warning sequel to the allegation that the National Leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu, had endorsed a particular aspirant ahead of the August 27 primary election.
The party chairmen said if the rumour going round was true, it would spell doom spell and electoral disaster on the party.
Addressing journalists, the Chairman of all the chairmen, Mr. Rasheed Badmos, affirmed that only free and credible primary can make the party win the November 26 poll.
