The former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has denied any involvement in the court case instituted by the embattled former national chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, seeking to stop the August 17 national convention.

In a statement issued on Thursday by Metuh’s Special Assistant, Richard Ihediwa, the former spokesman said that he is not part of the suit neither did he instruct anyone to file any such suit on his behalf.

“Our attention has been drawn to reports in the print and electronic media listing Chief Olisa Metuh as one of the plaintiffs in the suit seeking to halt the PDP’s scheduled August 17, 2016 National Convention.

“Chief Metuh wishes to inform the general public that he is not part of the suit seeking to stop the convention and he never instructed anyone to file any such suit on his behalf,” it said.
