3,000 Intending FCT Pilgrims Warned to Participate in Hajj Activities or Lose Seats

The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has warned its 3, 000 intending pilgrims for this year to adhere strictly to instructions and participate in all activities aimed at successful hajj exercise or lose their Hajj seats.

The Director of the Board, Mallam Bashir Muhammad, gave the warning in a press release made available to press men during the commencement of the education and orientation exercise for the 2016 intending pilgrims at the permanent hajj camp in Abuja.

According to him, “The warning became necessary considering the various policies introduce this year by relevant authorities saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that pilgrims attain acceptable hajj.

Bashir emphasized the need for the intending pilgrims to avail themselves of the opportunity of activities lined up by the board to get acquainted with the guidelines for a successful hajj exercise.

He warned that examinations would be conducted at the end of the orientation exercises and any intending pilgrim who could not get the required marks would not be allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia through the board.
