Lawmaker Empowers 330 People in Jigawa

Member Representing Kazaure, Roni, Gwiwa and Yankwashi Federal Constituency, Hon. Muhammadu Gudaji has sponsored the training of 330 people in various skills and trades at the cost of N2.5million.

Speaking at the 1st Exhibition workshop organised by Kazaure Innovation and Enterprise Institute in conjunction with Department if Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic Kazaure held at the Emir’s Palace, Gudaji said the participants were drawn from the four local governments that made up his constituency, added the gesture as aimed at alleviating their suffering as well as for them become self reliant.

According to the federal lawmaker, the beneficiaries comprised of young male and female will be trained on different skills and trades which includes fashion design, artists and graphic, tailoring services, dying, weaving among others, pointed out that his gesture will equally aimed at complementing President Muhammad Buhari led APC government campaign promise of job creation among teeming citizenry.

His said: “The scheme is the first of its kind in the history of this constituency and more people will benefit from this empowerment project designed to make people of the constituency be self-reliant in the society.”

He called on the people of his constituency and other Nigerians to continue with their support and cooperation to the present administration of APC at both state and federal levels aimed at achieving the desire objectives for their betterment.

The lawmaker stated that there is the need for people to exercise more patience considering the untold hardship APC inherited from the past government which require time for total overhauling.
