Engage More Competent, Experienced Hands to Manage Dwindling Economy – Professor Tells Buhari

Deputy chairman, Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives, Professor Mojeed Alabi, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to engage more competent and experienced hands to address the dwindling economic and other challenges facing the country.

Alabi, a former speaker of Osun state house of assembly between 1999 and 2003 and now representing Ejigbo, Egbedore, Ede North and Ede South federal constituency of Osun state at the lower chamber, stated this in Ilorin, Kwara state capital, on Thursday while speaking with our correspondent on the state of the nation.

According to him, “There is no doubt that the nation is a large entity and there is need to rise to the cause of the common man in the society in order to add values to their lives.

“The current economic situation ‎is highly worrisome and there is need for the federal government to look for more qualified hands that would give necessary advise to the government in the bid to address the present dwindling economic challenges”.
