Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has charged Muslim faithful not to forget the very tenets of the religion-love, obedience and perseverance-as they celebrate the end of the Ramadan.
Akpabio, whose goodwill message was contained in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Jackson Udom, urged Muslim faithful to close ranks and work for the peace, unity and development of the country.
He said: “It is only in a state of peace and tranquility that governments at all levels would be able to deliver dividends of democracy.”
