The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Alkali Baba Usman, on Monday paraded 23 suspected armed robbers arrested within the territory since assumption of duty as commissioner.
Addressing the media at the Command Headquarters in Abuja while parading the suspects for various offences, he said 3 arms pistols, 31 live rounds of ammunition, 7 cars, one truck and a master key were recovered from the suspects.
The FCT Police boss said his immediate priority in the FCT is to see to the reduction of crime to barest minimum, adding, however, that it is almost impossible to have a society that is totally free of crime.
