Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba Iyiola Omisore, on Monday contended that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has given him stringent conditions for his release.

Omisore in a statement by his spokesperson, Prince Diran Odeyemi, and
made available to THISDAY on Monday in Osogbo , noted that “EFCC in a letter handed over to Senator Omisore after several hours of interrogation asked him to produce two serving Directors In any of the federal ministries or agencies with landed property in millionaires quarters of Maitama or Asokoro area of Abuja while the sureties must
submit the original C of O of the said landed properties.”

According to him, “We know too well of a standing instruction to serving civil servants not to stand as sureties in any matter and wonder why EFCC is giving a condition they have already blocked.”
