SlimTrader to Host Business Empowerment Forum for Hoteliers

One of Nigeria’s leading turn-key e-commerce solution provider for businesses, SlimTrader, is set to host its inaugural empowerment forum for owners and managers of hotels and hospitality businesses in Nigeria on June 29, 2016 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event themed: ‘Positioning Your Hotel for Greater Sales’ is set to be the first-of-its-kind in the country. It would feature talks and workshops led by experts in the hospitality, business and finance sectors.

Confirmed speakers at the conference include the Divisional CEO, Switching and Processing, Interswitch Limited, Akeem Lawal; Founder of Amplitude Solutions and a renowned Hospitality Operations and Training Consultant, Bruce Prins; holder of multiple technology patents and leading hotel technology development expert, Martin Pagel; and Country Manager, Mall for Africa and erstwhile Director for Marketplace at Konga.com, Mr. Kunle Oguneye.

Also attending, to share from their breadth of experience in running successful hotels in Nigeria, are the co-founder of Bogobiri House, Tola Akerele, as well as the Managing Director, Fahrenheit Hospitality Limited (FHL), Mr. Anthony Shisler.

The forum is set to be Nigeria’s biggest platform for hotels to managers and owners to learn important strategies to make their businesses even more profitable in these dire economic times. The forum will feature an interesting lineup of presentations and panel discussions ranging from what it takes for hotels in Nigeria to create visibility to specific target groups to new ways for the Nigerian hospitality sector to extend its reach to a bigger local and international audience. There will also be talks on adopting the right tools and strategy for the generation of more revenue whilst ensuring cost effectiveness for hotel operations; and perspective from a leading financial expert on payments automation, reconciliation and management for the hospitality sector.
