Nnamani, Ex-Senate President, Hails Calibre of Buhari’s Appointees from S’ East

Second Republic Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, and former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, on Sunday joined other notable political leaders from the south-east zone to eulogise Foreign Affairs Minister, Geofrey Onyeama, and the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu, who were honoured by their kinsmen under the umbrella of Eke Progressive Forum (EPF).
Other notable leaders who took part in the dinner at Nike Lake Hotel and Civic reception at the Eke Central School in Udi local council of Enugu state included Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, former governor Peter Obi of Anambra state, Prof Osita Ogbu, former Economic Adviser to the president, Chief Onyemuche Nnamani,  a former Secretary to Enugu state government, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), among others.
In his speech at the dinner, tne former Senate President hailed President Muhammadu Buhari on the calibre of persons he gave appointments from the south-east zone, insisting that the appointees were men of integrity and credibility. He specifically eulogised Onyeama and Okechukwu as men who would provide quality representation of Ndigbo in the present government.
