The Moses Adekoyejo Majekodunmi Foundation (MAMF) recently organised a one-day Nurses’ Capacity Training Workshop to enlighten and educate healthcare nursing professionals.
According to the Executive Director of the foundation, Mrs. Bolaji Fati, the workshop focused on strategies and perception of patient’s care by healthcare delivery professionals thereby enabling them to attain their full potentials as care givers.
She declared that the training workshop was designed to refocus and re-energise public healthcare nurses into receiving life sustaining skills for the future.
Fati added that: “Nurses have a transformational impact in the lives of patients, providing complete healing services and making an immense difference in a patient cure scenario; we at M.A Majekodunmi desire continued value in healthcare delivery service and are committed to supporting the healthcare sector of Nigeria.
She noted that nurses are vital to healthcare improvement and the foundation appreciates their efforts, challenges and desire to care for patients. Nursing facilities from international organizations spoke at the workshop as well as the Permanent Secretary of Ogun State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Adesanya Ekundayo.
Dr. Moses Adekoyejo Majekodunmi Foundation (MAMF) is a non-for profit organisation, duly registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC). The Foundation was founded by Chief Majekodunmi, in the year 2000 and commenced operations officially in 2012.
The MAM foundation aims to deliver sustainable interventions in the area of education and healthcare in Nigeria and the world at large. Her mission is to promote the ideals of Christianity for the advancement of humanity through ethical and moral interventions in education and health.
