Troops Carry Massive Clearance of Terrorists from Konduga Axis

Nigerian troops have carried out massive clearance operations against Boko Haram terrorists in Konduga town in Borno State.

The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, said in a statement on Thursday that 103 Battalion, 7 Division, carried out the clearance operations in conjunction with Civilian JTF based in Konduga.

According Usman, the troops “carried out massive clearance operations of suspected hideouts in Kursori, Bashirari, Malatari, Goneri, Kajimari, Lawan Kolori and Yale villages within Konduga Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State”.

During the operation, he said, the troops recovered a logistics Canter vehicle, 36 hand grenades, 16 Dane guns and two AK-47 rifle magazines, among others.
