Former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Pauline Tallen, has said that she has no regret dumping the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress, APC, because the PDP lacks internal democracy.

Speaking to newsmen at the weekend in Jos, Tallen said: “I am thanking God for dumping the PDP at the right time; the lack of internal democracy and imposition in the party was unbearable. I saw the cracks coming in the party.

“When I was about leaving the ‎PDP, some of my friends advised me not to leave the then ruling party, but I told them I was following my heart and I am glad that I left the PDP at the right time.”

Commenting on the first year of President Muhammadu Buhari, Tallen said the President has proven that he has what it takes to move Nigeria forward. “President Buhari has been able to tackle the insecurity in the North-eastern part of the country,” she said.
