Seasiders Win at Sam Ocheho/InnJoo Handball

Civil Defence of Abuja and ASPAC of Benin Republic yesterday recorded victories in the women’s category at the ongoing Third Sam Ocheho/InnJoo Invitational Handball Championship holding at the Rowe Park Sports Complex, Yaba.

The Defence Babes defeated the Seasider girls in 30-21 scoreline, while ASPAC of Benin Republic got the better of Queens of Cote d’Ivoire 20-12 in the second match of the day to brighten their hopes of topping the table.
In the men’s category, Lagos Seasiders beat Idah Pillars 35- 31 in an interesting match that saw both teams slugging it out to win the contest.

But the Lagos boys triumphed at the end of the day.
In another game in the boys’ battle, Delta Force humbled Sokoto Rima 25-24.
