NCPC to Airlift About 20,000 Intending Pilgrims to Israel

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission has disclosed plans to airlift about 20,000 intending pilgrims to the Holy Land this year during the October/December pilgrimage.

The Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Rev. Tor Uja, disclosed this recently in Makurdi at a reception in his honour for his new appointment as the Executive Secretary of NCPC by strategic Think Tank group.

Uja, through a press release made available to journalists in Abuja, explained that last year, the Commission airlifted about 8,000 pilgrims to Israel, a number which, he said, would be improved upon this year.

According to him, “There is need for Christians who go on pilgrimage to come back spiritually and morally transformed. There must be clear evidence of participation in pilgrimage activities in Israel so that on return the pilgrims would be a shining light for others.”
