Yinka Kolawole in Osogbo
A prominent business woman and Iyaloja (Head of Market Women) of Kajola-Ijesa market in Atakumosa East Local Government Area of Osun State; Alhaja Adunni Adegbokun, has been rescued by men of the Osun State Police Command.
She was kidnapped by unknown gunmen 10 days ago.
Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr Olufemi Olanipekun Oyeleye, confirmed that the business woman was rescued along Ikire expressway by the police patrol team from Ikire Divisional Police headquaters.
The Commissioner who spoke through the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) of Osun State Police Command, ASP Egbedele Ajibade, stated that policemen were on the trail of the abductors of the woman.
