The famous hunter who specializes in trapping armed robbers in parts of the country, Alhaji Ali Kwara, at the weekend nabbed three suspected kidnappers in Nasaru village in Ningi Local government area of Bauchi state after they threatened to kidnap their biological father and a herdsman called Muhammadu Shanono if he refused to give a ransom of N1 million.
Addressing newsmen on the development, Ali Kwara explained that the suspects – Adamu and  Iro – had allegedly conspired with another accomplice in the area known as Shuaibu Sambo and asked him to write a letter to their father demanding the said amount or else he would be abducted and killed.
The herdsman, according to him, got frightened, took six of his cows and sold them in Nasaru market at the sum of N500,000 which he handed over to his sons to pay to Shuaibu Sambo who would allegedly share the money with them but were however apprehended by the hunter in collaboration with policemen in the town following a tip-off.
”One of the culprits in the person of Iro was given the sum of N500,000 by his father to give to the kidnapper who wrote the letter but he diverted N200,000 and gave his accomplices the sum of N300,000 pretending that it was the only amount he collected. The matter brought about conflicts among them which led to their arrest by my boys and team of policemen attached to the area,” he disclosed.
