Five cattle rustlers who killed a Fulani herder and rustled 32 heads of cattle and 30 sheep in Mangu local government area of Plateau State have been arrested.
State Secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Muhammad Adam, who disclosed this on Monday, added that the rustlers crossed from Fan district in Barkin Ladi LGA into Mangu LGA and killed 35 years old Adamu Yusuf before rustling his cows and sheep on Sunday evening.
Adam said the Security Task Force agents in Barkin Ladi have recovered 19 of the cattle and all the sheep, adding that the rustlers have agreed to take the security agents to Gyel market in Bukuru, Jos South LGA where the remaining cattle have been taken to for sale.
