One of the front runners for the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 10 polls in Edo State, Dr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, has given his support to the incumbent governor of the state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, for his submission to the national fact-finding and reconciliation committee set up to address the perceived in-fighting in the state chapter of the party.

In a media chat in Benin City on Monday, Ogiemwonyi asserted that the governor’s submission to the Olagunsoye Oyinlola’s team was meaningful.

He said: “I support the governor’s statement. All the Edo State APC stakeholders and governorship aspirants are all clamouring for a level playing field so that we can have a formidable candidate emerging during the governorship primaries to fight the opposition party, PDP.

“So, so far, so well, we are praycrisis free primaries in a few weeks time”.

On developmental strides, the former Minister of state, Works, said the Oshiomhole administration in Edo State has scored 80 percent.
