Zoologist Urges Nigerians to Eat Foods that Boost Fertility

By Hammed Shittu

A Professor of Applied Zoology, Stephen Oluwagbemiga, has urged Nigerians to cultivate the habit of eating foods that could boost their fertility.

Oluwagbemiga of Landmarks University, Omu Aran, disclosed this at the weekend during the annual lecture of the National Association of Zoology Students, University of Ilorin, held in the institution.

He asked people with fertility problems to eat goat meat and foods that contain different nutrients.

The don cautioned against feeding too much on junk foods.

According to him, “Most Nigerians are calcium-deficient and it affects their hearts and other body functions”.

Oluwagbemiga therefore stressed the need for people to increase their calcium intake by eating crayfish, snails and biscuit bones.
