The new Director General of National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC), Brigadier General Suleman Kazaure, has urged Corps members to contribute towards transforming communities they will be deployed to.
He made the call while addressing the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wamakko, Sokoto State.
According to a statement from the NYSC’s national secretariat, Kazaure urged corps members to use the platform of the Scheme’s Community Development Service to identify and provide for the felt needs of the communities through the execution of projects.
He also enjoined the Corps members to appreciate and respect the culture of the communities while also warning them against indecent dressing and other improper behaviours.
