NIPR President Supports MPPPROF

The National President, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Rotimi Oladele, has pledged the support of the Military, Paramilitary Police Public Relations Officers Forum (MPPPROF).
Oladele who stated this while welcoming members of MPPROF by its National President, Mr. Steve Okonmah, applauded the resolve of the body towards bringing all public relations officers of federal and state government agencies, ministry and paramilitary organisations under one umbrella.
He pointed out that the forum would not only bridge the yawning gap in all government agencies, paramilitary, but would also foster unity, oneness and peaceful co-existence among themselves.
Okonmah, who is also the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Port Terminal Multiservice Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the service Southwest Customs Public Relations Officers Chairman, had earlier in his address solicited the cooperation of the professional body in the area of training coordination and support for his members who cut across the country to perform their duty as PRO better.
He enjoined the members of the forum to strive to bridge the gap already noticed in governmental agencies in the country.
He informed his host that already the public relations officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has opted to join the forum.
“The idea is to reduce the fraction between the traffic managers and other paramilitary agencies. Also the public relations officer of the Vehicle Inspection Organisation (VIO) has agreed to join us in our next meeting. Apart from this, we will be in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom to inaugurate our chapter there soon. After that, we will go to the North and Abuja”, he added.
