The Election Commissioner of Police for FCT Area Council Election, Foluso Adebanjo, has said the election was peaceful and devoid of any rancour.
Adebanjo, who stated this at the end of tour of the six Are Councils with Journalists, said the exercise was a non violence one.
Although he said few arrests were made, the CP explained that they were mere miscreants.
While appreciating the way and manner FCT residents comported themselves during the voting stage, Adebanjo noted that the courageous and doggedness of security personnel played a major role in achieving the feat.
He promised the readiness of the Force in ensuring that there will be peace even after the election results have been announced.
