The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoS), Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, on Thursday called for collaboration among  relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the federal government with a view to boosting the nation’s economy.

The HoS made the call in her opening remarks at the meeting of the Public Private Consultative Forum (3PUCF) for all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the federal government, held in Abuja recently.

In a statement by the Assistant Director (Media Relations), Mohammed Manga, the HoS said  for governments all over the world to succeed in their efforts to explore new ideas to improve service delivery to the populace, there must be a robust synergy and active collaboration between the public and private sectors of the economy which would serve as a platform for sharing experiences on what works, for whom and under what condition.

She re-affirmed the federal government’s commitment to promoting Public Private Partnership (PPP) as a viable development model particularly as the change agenda places a high premium on rapid modernisation and expansion of the country’s infrastructure.
