The remains of the army officer, Col. Samaila Inusa, who was killed by his abductors in Kaduna was on Wednesday buried at the old Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA ) burial ground in Kaduna
The deceased was said to be a Chief Instructor at the Nigerian Arm School of Infantry, Jaji, near Kaduna.
He was kidnapped by yet to be identified gun men along Kamazo road, near NNPC Junction, Kaduna, last Sunday and his corpse was found in Ajyaita village, off eastern by-pass, Kaduna.
He was buried according to Islamic rites after which he was given military honours with three gun salute.
Dressed in the national colour of the green-white-green, the body of Col. Inusa arrived the old NDA cemetery around11.45am from the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna, and was committed to mother earth at noon.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant-Gen. Tukur Buratai, who was represented at the burial by the Chief of Administration at the Army Headquarters, Maj-Gen. Ado Abubakar,
restated the determination of the army to fish out the culprits and bring them to justice.
He described the late officer as a gallant and professional soldier, noting that the Army was not happy with the way and manner he was killed.
