The Management of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank (IMB) has announced the elevation of eight members of staff to higher positions. The bank has also rewarded 25 members of staff with various salary increments.
The promotions and salary increments take effect from this month.
The bank in a statement made available to THISDSAY, at the week end in Abuja, listed those elevated as: Messrs. Sunday Olumorin, now Deputy General Manager; Samson Agbaka, from Principal Manager to Assistant General Manager. Others are David Mathew and Hopkins Amachree, promoted from Senior Banking Officers to Assistant Managers respectively.
Also, Messrs. Obiwale Oyebode and Victor Abalaka, from Assistant Banking Officers to Banking Officers, while Miss Grace Madueke and Mrs. Queen Ogundu, were elevated from Executive Trainees to Assistant Banking Officers.
Explaining the rationale behind the exercise, the MD/CEO of the bank, Mr. Olabanjo Obaleye, said the exercise was consistent with the bank’s policy of rewarding members of staff for their hard work and commitment, adding that the bank would continue to reward outstanding performance among members of staff. He said that the bank would continue to provide a conducive environment and a level playing ground for members of staff to achieve their career dreams.
Obaleye said: “As a bank, we have a culture of rewarding hard work, dedication and excellence as a way of appreciating and motivating our staff. In addition, our policy is to provide a conducive environment and level playing field for every member of staff to actualize their career ambition with the bank.
On the bank’s expectation for 2016, he said: “The year 2016 is here with its challenges that are looking overwhelming, especially when one considers the fall in the value of the naira, moving downwards at a very dangerous speed.
However, one thing I am sure of is that this year new millionaires will emerge in their thousands. Therefore, the fruits that 2016 will bring forth will smile exceedingly on people with strong commitment, positive attitude and unshaken belief in the capacity of the Almighty God to turn situations around for better. In fact, I see our bank recording the best ever result this year.”
