The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, and former President of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Sunday canvassed peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

Consequently, they enjoined Nigerians to share love and promote peace in spite of the country’s socio-economic and political challenges, noting that no price or sacrifice “is too great to achieve peace.”

The duo canvassed peaceful co-existence among Nigerians in separate statements, calling on Nigerians home and abroad to emulate Jesus Christ, who they said, sacrificed his life to redeem the sinners.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Musbau Rasak, Obasa enjoined all Nigerians to continue to cooperate and support the All Progressives Congress (APC) governments at all levels.

The speaker pointed out that the APC governments at all levels “are putting in place programmes and measures,” which he said, would enhance and improve the standard of living across all strata.

He thus said governments alone “cannot revive the country. We need your support and cooperation always because in salvaging this country from the past maladministration, all hands must be on deck.
