The Zone 12 Police Headquarters in Bauchi has unveiled its strategic crime plan for combating crimes, just as it reaffirmed its commitment to the re-settlement of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North-East region.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 12, Mr Tunde ‎Ogunsakin, stated this while addressing pressmen in his office in Bauchi on Sunday.

He said: “We are set to implement a strategic crime response plan after a discreet evaluation of the security situation and the needs of the three states of Bauchi, Borno and Yobe that make up the zone 12 Command.”

According to him, “It has been challenging because occasionally I have to relocate to Yobe and Borno states so as to ensure‎ that our supportive role to the military in the Battle against insurgency is effectively and efficiently carried out and to also give strategic and administrative directions to my Commissioners of Police who are equally doing excellently well’’.
