A year after the abduction of David Priestly, a British national by armed men from a construction site at Kwali, on the Abuja-Lokoja road, the British High Commission in Nigeria and Priestly’s family are renewing their appeal for information about what has happened to him.
David Priestly is 72 years old and had lived in Nigeria for over 30 years, married to a Nigerian and together they have two children.
David’s wife in a statement through the British High Commission in Abuja, directly appealed to those with any knowledge of her husband’s whereabouts to divulge same.
“He is a good husband and loving father who is well respected within the Nigerian community for all his good works.
“His children miss him terribly and are desperate for any information about what happened to their father,” she stressed.
Priestly’s wife asked anyone with information about her husband’s current situation to please make contact to enable her fully understand what happened.
The statement said anyone with relevant information on the whereabouts of the abducted Briton was urged to contact 08177415460.
David Priestly was abducted on January 21, 2015.
